For this Discussion, we will begin to build the SIOP plan that you will use in your classroom. By looking at the SIOP Planning Template, you will be able to consider the Unit/Theme you would like to teach and the vocabulary background that students will need in order to succeed.
Thinking about the SIOP plan and all of the different things you might be teaching English language learners can be overwhelming! For this discussion, we are going to focus on the unit/theme, standards, and key vocabulary of the unit within the SIOP Lesson Plan Template 1.
